Hoe zorg je er met een dakraam voor dat een keukenaanbouw een lichte en ruimtelijke uitbreiding is van de leefruimte?

How can one see to it, by use of a rooflight, that a kitchen extension is a light and spacious expansion of the living space? In this example we show you how indoors and outdoors are connected and how the rooflight causes abundant daylight.

Rooflight brings daylight in kitchen extension

Light in the living space

It is a living space rather than a large kitchen. The huge rooflight, that was built-in sleek and minimalistic, makes the extension light and spacious. Not just a large and cosy kitchen with kitchen island and a huge table, but also an actual library was designed tailor-made. The light comes in in various ways, in addition to the rooflight there are large French doors that connect the outdoor area and indoors even more. Also there are different hanging lights and recessed spots to be able to create the right atmosphere at any moment.

Rooflight in kitchen extension provides Sky Only View

The rooflight is constructed such that from inside, you can only see the sleek finishing and the sky, the Sky Only View. This is achieved by mounting the rooflight across a raised edge that falls outside the recess and neatly finish it from inside. Daylight as part of the architecture. The gives the 1920 house a warm and modern appearance. Get inspired by these photos and bring more light into your own kitchen.
